The Flatirons Community Orchestra is proud to present the fourth annual Youth Concerto Showcase!
The FCO would like to invite three middle or high cchool students to perform a movement of a concerto with orchestral accompaniment at our March 7th, 2026 concert.
Soloists must choose a piece that is in the public domain. All pieces require approval from FCO. IMSLP.org is a great resource for finding public domain works.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7 to 9pm at Harvest Baptist Church (7493 Old Mill Trail, Boulder, CO.) Soloist should expect to rehearse between 7 and 8 pm.
Soloists must be available to rehearse with the Orchestra on February 11, 18, 25, and March 4, as well as be present at the dress rehearsal and performance.
Dress Rehearsal: March 6 at 7pm at United Church of Christ (1500 9th Ave, Longmont)
Performance: March 7 at 4pm at United Church of Christ

When your piece is approved, students will submit a video audition of the first three minutes of their concerto by December 30th. Results will be announced by January 15.
