The FCO would like to invite middle or high school students to perform a movement of a concerto with orchestral accompaniment at our annual Youth Concerto Showcase held in March.
Soloists must choose a piece that is in the public domain. All pieces require approval from FCO. IMSLP.org is a great resource for finding public domain works.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7 to 9pm at Harvest Baptist Church (7493 Old Mill Trail, Boulder, CO.) Soloist should expect to rehearse between 7 and 8 pm.
Soloists must be available to rehearse with the Orchestra as well as be present at the dress rehearsal and performance.
